Thoughts, feelings and emotions. Where words fail. The result of an attempt at understanding. An effort at making sense of the world around me. Through creating plastic works I am attempting to learn, to grow through questioning, curiosity and experimentation. Always with an open mind. Always allowing that which is to present itself honestly, in its own way.

I do not make “art” in the traditional Western sense, but create visual totems of a new culture – developing a view for the world as it unfolds into our future (now). They are plastic representations/synthesis of a collection of values, beliefs and way of life. This is how my work can exist in multiple dimensions (mediums) – they come from the same place and are complementary to each other – coming together to create a whole. A unity of ideas.

My work is not for entertainment or escape. My desire is to (kindly) challenge you; to serve as a catalyst. When we gather to share perspectives – we must actively engage our senses, our intellect and our spirits. To be left with a new contemplation, or having felt a new sensation.

Do not come seeking a diversion or distraction from life. We are not at a point in history where that is an option.
